2026 Camp Reflections

From our hearts to yours, here's what resonated at Camp this year ❤️

From Kate:

When women choose to believe that the magic of girlhood exists at any age, something kinda wonderful happens.

The gift of girlhood is that it never truly goes away when we grow up, it just gets a little buried under the busy hum of every day life.

When we take away the to do lists and endless tasks (and are plopped down in the middle of small town Iowa at a Girl Scout Camp), the noise slowly fades and makes space for something more.

Where it once felt like a chore to connect, we can do with ease. Days that are usually filled with emails and dms give way to real conversations (and impromptu masterminds) that last for hours and are filled with joy and a squeezed hand. Maybe even a Kleenex passed for tears that may have been held back a little too long.

And isn't that what it's all about? Living a life where we don't have to hide who we are behind what we do? The beautiful integration of being able to be and have BOTH without sacrificing.

That's what we saw at Camp this year.

The wild and honest convergence of how it feels to be accepted and stretched to grow through something new. No competition, no expectations, no pressure. There is only the invitation to delight in the promise of a long weekend spent with new friends who feel like old. The kind you always knew you'd find, but weren't exactly sure how.

Suddenly, it all makes sense. Why when we were kids we had the best talks over bonfires and beads and slight burnt s'mores. We realized how at ease we felt falling into the flow of painting for the sake of play, how good it felt to belly laugh over a canon ball, how beautiful it was to listen without distraction to words and poetry as warm as butter.

The magic of these moments was never lost, we just needed a little nudge to help us find it again.

Camp Climb 2026 reflected not only the brilliance each Camper already held, but allowed her to hold up the mirror for someone else and say, “do you see the beautiful brilliance I see in you too?”

As we settle in to prep for 2027, we're lingering here just a bit longer. This is story we'll carry moving forward. Our first year in the books, this was the dream that became a reality. Here's to Camp Climb 2026, and all the wonder and whimsy the future will hold.

From Haley:

Kate and I did a walk through at camp two days before our campers arrived.

It felt like an exhale walking through the space. And that is when the excitement hit. Because I knew what was coming. So many women were about to set down their day-to-day lives for a weekend, and be held. Held by nature. Held by sisterhood. Held by something I already knew would change them for good.

It did. In more ways than one.

We watched women arrive from every direction of life, business owners, authors, speakers, artists, each one carrying the titles we all learn to wear. And I watched this place ask nothing of any of them. No résumé to prove. No version of success to perform. Just the quiet invitation to be seen, not for what you do, but for who you are underneath it. That's the part I carry with me still. Women remembering their own magic, simply because it was already theirs. Nothing to earn it. Nothing to prove.

What moved me most was how deep women were willing to go. So many of us carry a sisterhood wound, a quiet fear that if we let ourselves be fully seen, we'll be too much, or not enough. But I watched women hand each other their whole selves, not just the brightest parts, but the heavy ones, the unclear ones, the still-becoming ones, and be met with more love for it, not less. I was reminded, again, that brilliance was never only your best and brightest. It's every part of you. All of it, worth owning.

And underneath all of it, the land held us the way we held each other. Tall trees standing witness. A lake still enough to see yourself in. Horses next to wildflower fields that had gone soft and golden. Air so fresh it woke something up in you just by breathing it. Everywhere you turned, you could feel it, you were being supported, not only by the women beside you, but by the earth beneath you.

We danced. We cried. We laughed. We dreamed. And by the time Sunday rolled around, we were already counting down the days until we got to do it all again, because it isn't often you find a space where you feel this utter sense of belonging. That is what Camp Climb creates.

A weekend for the creative woman to give space to the joy, the dreams, the fears that hold us back, the creativity that unlocks clarity and to cultivate real, authentic connection with women who see and love every part of who you are. A weekend where you get to show up exactly as you are, and be expanded toward wherever you're meant to soar.

If some part of you is reading this and wondering whether next year is for you, trust the whisper.

2026... you blew us away. 2027 Campers? You are in for the weekend of a lifetime.
